CAKE (Discografia)

Cake es una banda de Sacramento, California, formada en 1991.
A pesar de que la música de Cake es  clasificada como rock alternativo o indie rock, combina múltiples géneros musicales, tales como funk, ska, pop, jazz, rap, y country. Su música incluye letras curiosas con abundantes juegos de palabras , pegajosos riffs de guitarra distorsionada y solos de trompeta. El estilo único de Cake ha sido comparado al de bandas como They Might be Giants, Talking Heads, The Cars, y Camper Van Beethoven.

                                     Alaska y los Pegamoides

Alaska y los Pegamoides se formó en 1978 tras la separación del grupoKaka de lux, del que cuatro de sus componentes formaban parte (Alaska, Nacho Canut, Manolo Campoamor y Carlos Berlanga). 

  El grupo grabó su primer single, Horror en el Hipermercado, producido por Julián Ruiz, en 1980. Esta canción se convirtió en un relativo éxito gracias a su emisión por radio, lo que facilitó la grabación de su segundo single un año después, Otra dimensión. En 1982 el grupo sacó al mercado su único álbum, Grandes éxitos, del que se extrajo su famoso y exitoso single Bailando.
